 Sixpence Two

Grey 13hh mare born 1972, by Green Sword and out of The Moon, she is a granddaughter of Bwlch Zepher. In her heyday she won everything from the new SHP classes to open 13hh WHP, with dressage and cross country in between. Sixpence rules the roost at Hirondelle and will live out the remainder of her days here, as she is to us, the Best Pony In The World.

Sadly on Wednesday 18/07/07  we lost my 'pony of a lifetime ',Sixpence Two.

Much loved and much missed, and who had left a huge hole in the yard here at hirondelle.

                                                 Hirondelle Minerva.

Black filly, born 11th May 2004, by Polaris Dylan, and out of Colbeach Justina.  Born  black, now turning steel grey.

'Minnie' is now turning 4, and her ridden career lies ahead. She will be broken shortly and either will be shown as a novice or will be sold if anyone is interested.

Bay mare born 1980,by Cawstons Clown and out of Laylandia, formerly a race horse who's change of career lead to Mrs Rachel Hinchly doing the Large show hack classes and qualifying for HOYS.

Unfortunately 'Prima's' innings came to an end, and was slowly falling apart, so had that horrible decision to make, and stopped things slipping any more.

Another one of the 'Originals' gone but not forgotten.

Sudden Sound

Chestnut mare, born 1995, by Beckside Drumbeat, and out of Dilmic Dorinda. 'Suzie' excels in LR SHP and although hasn't been out very much, has always been in the ribbons in the highest level of company.  She is the dam of the multi coloured champion Michelangelo .

Bay mare born 1999, by Mybella Blueprint, and out of Millcroft Sophia. Owned by Mrs Barbara Swift.  Jemima will hopefully come out under saddle to contest the novice show pony classes next year with Alexandra Hinchly taking up the reins.

Bay Gelding, born 2000, by Mybella Blueprint, and out of Millcroft Sophia, and is the full brother to Hirondelle Unique, also owned by Mrs Barbara Swift. Piper has been broken this year, and is now for sale as we have two ponies in the same class.

We wish Genni all the best with 'Piper' and updated piccies will follow as soon as she has had chance to get him out and about.
