Drybarrows Len

Brown gelding born 1992,by Heltondale Lucky lad II, and out of Drybarrows Annabell. Lennie was 'found' for his owner Miss Marion Shepherd as a 2yr old and has never changed owners since. Lennie has had an illustrious ridden career ranging from winning the novice ridden and taking the championship, the fell breed ridden class, and the showman's class to music all at the Ponies (UK) Summer Championships. He has won the Intermediate WHP two years on the run at the Fell pony breed show. His talents range from the ridden classes to even a touch of side saddle, with a bit of 'workers' in between.

Darrenvale Desmond

Black gelding born 1995, by Whitburn Major Tom, and out of Townend Mountain Gypsy, Desmond first came to us at Hirondelle as an overgrown 4yr old to be broken, The decision was then taken to buy Desmond and to hog him out, and give him a career as a show cob. Desmond is due to come out this year in the cob classes, and later to be aimed at the HOYS qualifiers.
